A Blessed Birthday!
Traditionally, my birthday has been my favorite day of the year! A celebration of you! A celebration of the trials and triumphs experienced, that have made you one year wiser, one year more experienced, one year stronger. Each birthday I reflect back to the previous years to see how God has grown me from year to year. My boyfriend Blake is big on celebrating, and he went the extra mile to make me feel loved and celebrated on my birthday. This was my golden birthday (I turned 25 on the 25th of August). We threw a birthday party at his place the Saturday before my birthday. In typical Jacqueline fashion, the party started at 6pm and ended by 10pm which allowed me to get 7 hours of sleep and a solid run at 6am the next morning in order to beat the heat! During my time living in Dallas I have made friends through church, through the running community and the triathlon community. Nothing makes me happier to have all the people I love in one room, enjoying one another’s company. I felt SO spoiled with love! Then, for my ACTUAL BIRTHDAY, I was of course spoiled by phone calls, cards, and FB messages from friends and family, and showered by acts of kindness, gifts, and love from Blake. Thank you everyone for sharing another special year with me!
